This independent clothing cartoon artist Kevin Rosa, aka SlumpyKev is making your favorite cartoons onto your clothes. This man is expanding creativity through his painting works. Some examples of his paintings are: Courage the Cowardly Dog, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Adventure Time, Chowder, Adventure Time, Ed, Edd n Eddy "Plank", Sponge-bob Squarepants, and many anime shows.

Kevin Rosa grew up around these very cartoons, these cartoons allowed him to create his pieces of artwork. Rosa stated that he started this full time around January - February 2017. In an interview with HIGHSNOBIETY he says, "The idea came from wanting to own pieces with my childhood favorites on them, but not being able to purchase them anywhere." In this same interview he is also asked about what cartoon character he relates to the most. He says, "As a child I was able to relate to Courage from Courage the Cowardly Dog because he was unable to express himself in ways that everyone around him could understand." But now he says he relates to Chowder from the show Chowder. He then became very successful with reaching out to artists who wanted to wear what he was making.

Kevin's pieces of artwork is something my streetwear artist seem to be drawn to. People who have wore his pieces are: Billie Eilish, XXXTentacion, Sheck Wes, Lil Uzi Vert, Swae Lee, and Bloodyosiris.

As you can tell by now Kevin Rosa "Slumpy Kev" is a very talented 19 year old, who started something he loves and made it into his job. Since of February 2018 he has released his own paint where he sells it on his website. https://www.slumpykev.com

Of course all his paint is sold out, showing how much his followers support the youngin. More recently in January of 2019 Slumpy has released apparel to the public, which is huge. When announced everyone knew they would be off the shelves just like that. The items he was dropping were a "Courage Beanie", "Aku Scarf", and "Aku Gloves".
